The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) provides broad oversight of the College’s student accountability processes across a community governed by the Honor Principle. OSRR assists community members in addressing and responding to conflict and harm in ways that are educational, equitable, and efficient. OSRR promotes mutual respect, accountability, and honorable behavior throughout the Reed community through processes that are educational and restorative. OSRR promotes a safe, caring and responsive climate and facilitates avenues for repair with community members when harm has occurred. OSRR provides advice, support, and resources to students, staff and faculty seeking to engage in restorative and/or resolution processes.
Possible ways students may interact with OSRR:
- Responding to allegations that they have committed a policy violation or caused harm to another community member
- Exploring avenues to address harm caused by a community member
- Seeking advice or assistance in how to address interpersonal or community-wide conflict
- Interested in learning about or improving existing College policies or processes
- Interested in serving on Judicial Board, Honor Council, or the Restorative Practices Team
- Reporting a situation of concern
- Share feedback
Possible ways staff or faculty may interact with OSRR:
- Exploring avenues to address harm caused by a student community member
- Seeking advice or assistance in how to address interpersonal or community-wide conflict
- Interested in learning about or improving existing College policies or processes
- Requesting disciplinary records to assist in the hiring or placement of student workers
- Interested in helping to advise Judicial Board or the Restorative Justice Coalition, or serving on the Honor Council
- Reporting a situation of concern

The SHARE program provides training for students and employees on a wide range of issues, including prevention and intervention education, and offers confidential advocacy for students who have experienced sexual or relationship misconduct.
Title IX / Section 504

The Title IX / Section 504 Coordinator works to stop, prevent, and remedy discrimination on the basis of both sex and gender, and disability, within the Reed community. The Coordinator works across campus to support college policies and procedures consistent with state and federal laws in these areas, and strives to further educationally purposeful conversations that are supportive of all members of the community.
