Dear staff and faculty,
On Friday, I shared with students strategies for care and support in anticipation of the upcoming Presidential Inauguration. Below you can find the initial email addressed to them.
Many of our students have made their transitions back to Portland or are en route to the Reed campus. As students begin to acclimate themselves for the semester, there might be some apprehension about the Presidential Inauguration events. I know many of our students look to Reed as a support system and safe haven from our world's realities. Staff and faculty are a critical element of that support, as our students value the relationships they have with you. I also recognize you might even have apprehensions yourself and hope that the strategies shared can help you. Please feel free to print and hang the attached poster on your office door or link it to your email signature.
If students need additional support, please do not hesitate to make a Care Team Referral.
