Welcome to the Reed College Sports Center!. We have limited hours this summer due to construction. In talks with Fortis construction, if we stayed out of their way during business hours for them 7am-4pm, they gave us a potential opening date 3 weeks early and before the semester begins. This was a great opportunity for us to get the project done, and prep for the next semester for opening operations at the start of the fall semester.  So, we had to sacrifice some summer access for a brighter future. We hope you understand the limitations that construction affords our facility.

We are juggling many changes in the spaces and programming trying to meet the needs of the students and greater community. Please grant us grace during this time and understand that we are limited in our ability to meet all requests for access and programming. Currently we are serving only current students, staff and faculty at this time. No alumni, guests, family members are allowed access at this time due to spacing constraints of the on-going construction.

We ask that you have patience with the variable program and facility use during the next year and half of construction. Many times issues will arise that are outside of the SC staff control and perview with the project.

Our goals are to offer an inclusive atmosphere where students can come and de-stress, practice holistic wellness practices, gain lifelong skill sets learning new mental and physical disciplines and develop strong social connections with fellow community members.

Alumni, guests, family of staff/faculty and students and non-community members are not allowed access to the sports center facilities at this time. This includes grads from the 2023- 24 class at this time. Due to the collapse of the gymnasiums in 2020 and losing over 10K sq ft of programming space, and with the upcoming construction and remodeling of the facility, we are continuing to limit facility access to accommodate only our current students and community members (staff, faculty).
