Blood Drives
SEEDS partners with the American Red Cross to host four blood drives throughout the year. We encourage Reed community members to donate blood or volunteer.
Many people find it difficult to make it to the Red Cross to give blood unless there is a national emergency. But smaller emergencies happen every day for which patients require blood to support a treatment that could save their lives. We attempt to bridge this gap by hosting blood drives on campus. On-campus blood drives are listed on Reed’s events calendar and are open to Reed students, staff, faculty, and the broader Portland community. All drives run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Kaul Auditorium. You can register in advance with the American Red Cross: enter the sponsor code REEDCOLLEGE.
