Dear Reed parents and families,
We are excited to welcome you on November 3 & 4 for Parent & Family Weekend.
Friday's schedule will include conference sessions on Humanities 110 (the required class for all first-year students) and a discussion of the curriculum beyond the first year, a faculty research showcase, a music performance, Reed Reactor tours, a calligraphy class, and a reception. Sessions on Saturday include a talk with President Bilger, an interactive session with student life, and an information session with the Center for Life Beyond Reed.
All sessions are designed to engage both first-year and upper-division parents. There are capacity limits for the Hum 110 sessions and Reactor tours, both of which require separate registrations. All registrations are first come, first serve.
The Hum 110 sessions will be structured as "conference" conversations, which is the format of many classes at Reed. Learn more about Reed's use of conference-style classes in Reed Magazine.
