Central IT funds cover a majority of computing equipment across the college. This includes a primary computer and monitor for employees, and some shared workstations in classrooms, teaching labs, and administrative offices. Other college funds (e.g., department, faculty startup, grant, etc.) may be used to cover the cost of additional computing equipment. Regardless of funding, all requests for new or replacement computing equipment should go through the Computer Equipment Replacement (CER) request form. This ensures equipment can be supported by IT and meets security requirements. Software and equipment costing less than $500 is generally funded by the department.
