Faculty-led programs are a dynamic form of international teaching and learning that complement Reed-approved off-campus programs by opening study abroad opportunities to a wider array of students. Faculty-led study abroad programs at Reed can be integrated with on-campus curricula as half-unit credit-bearing courses that take place over winter or summer break.
The Off-Campus Study Programs Committee (OCSC) and the International Programs Office (IPO) assist faculty, departments, and divisions in developing and administering these short-term programs for Reed-enrolled students and provide guidance so that they comply with the college’s commitment to the Forum on Education Abroad’s Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad.
