Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Rituals

The establishment and celebration of DEI rituals allow both Reed staff and students to come together in a safe, inclusive environment to work on our commitment to diversity and equity. We acknowledge that this commitment is not a static process, but a dynamic one that requires continuous learning, introspection, action, and dialogue.

Community of Color Dinner

Twice a year, our community of students, staff, and faculty of color comes together for an evening of connection and empowerment. In this space, voices are heard, stories are shared, and bonds are strengthened over good food and great company.

Dinner Dialogue

This ritual fosters deeper exploration of themes vital to our community's growth and resilience, from personal empowerment to empathy through wonder, and celebrating the sparks of joy that define our campus spirit. These conversations inspire passion and purpose in all participants.
