College vans

Reed owns five 15-passenger vans and one 8-passenger van that are available for transportation to and from official school functions. Only drivers approved by the vehicle coordinator may drive these vans. To become a van driver, see the sports center building supervisor. Vans are for student, staff and faculty transportation only and are not to be used for heavy-duty hauling, dogs, or bikes. Vehicles are reserved in advance on a "first come" basis. Van reservations may be "bumped" if vans are needed for a scheduled class or sports center event, and they may be cancelled if weather or road conditions are deemed questionable as determined by the vehicle coordinator. Vehicle reservation forms are available from facilities services, residence life, and student activities. Van reservations are made through the facilities services office.
