Two-Year Visiting Assistant Professor Position in Psychology
The Reed College Psychology Department seeks applicants for a two-year assistant professor position in HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY to begin August 2025. We recognize that health psychology incorporates scholars from a variety of disciplines, and we welcome candidates with experience conducting laboratory-based research. The selected individual will teach four courses (two each semester), including a team-taught introductory psychology course with a lab, a core course in health psychology with lab, and lower and upper level seminars that include neuroscience-related content. In addition, the person will supervise multiple year-long senior thesis projects. In the second year, academic advising will also be expected. Candidates must have their Ph.D. at the time of employment. We especially welcome applications from candidates with experience teaching and/or mentoring undergraduates.
