Two Visiting Positions in Physics
Reed College invites applications for a one-year visiting position, and a two-year visiting position in Physics, at the Assistant Professor level, to begin August, 2025. The position is open to candidates of any research focus; our main selection criterion will be the promise of outstanding teaching. The appointment entails classroom and laboratory instruction of bright and engaged undergraduates and close supervision of senior thesis students. PhD in physics or closely allied field required, postdoctoral and teaching experience desirable. Reed College is a small, distinguished undergraduate institution with a strong liberal arts curriculum and long tradition of academic excellence.
