Part-Time Visiting Assistant Professor in English
Part-time (0.4 FTE) Visiting Assistant Professor appointment in English with a specialization in film. Beginning August 2024. Starting salary $28,698+, commensurate with experience. Candidates should specialize in Film with a focus on American, British, or Anglophone works and with preference for a scholar with interests in race and ethnic studies, class, or gender and sexuality studies. The successful candidate will teach two courses on film (introductory and advanced) in the English department and will perhaps advise year-long senior theses. Above all, we seek candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and who are engaged in a lively and serious program of scholarship. Ph.D. preferred, but ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.
