Stimulated sons of the duke!
Alas, the unicorn!

The unicorn's forehead!
Stimulated grandsons of the duke!
Alas, the unicorn!

The unicorn's horn!
Stimulated clansmen of the duke!

The preface to this poem reads:

                     "Linzhi" echoes "Guanju."  When the transformation that "Guanju" shows is manifested,
                     there is no transgressing of the rites.  Even the duke's sons of a declining age would be as
                     truthful and virtuous as those in the age of the unicorn's hoofs.
