McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill

Description

The McCall MacBain Scholarship covers tuition and fees for an eligible master’s program (over 150 eligible programs) or a second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a monthly living stipend during academic terms, a one-time relocation grant, and options for summer funding. Scholars also participate in a leadership development program, connect with mentors and advisors, and attend a breadth of workshops and talks.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must meet ONE of the following criteria:

  • You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August in the year after you apply to this scholorship
  • You earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years
  • You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago, and are 30 years or younger at any point in the scholarship application year

Applicants must also meet the GPA (and other) requirements of their desired program at McGill (generally requires a GPA of 3.0 or greater.

International students at Reed are eligible.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants can apply directly to the McCall MacBain program by the deadline (typically in late September). There is no need to apply to McGill University at that time. If you are selected as a McCall MacBain finalist, then you will need to apply to your intended McGill program/s.

Current students and recent graduates will need an institutional endorsement from Reed College and should reach out to CLBR Fellowships  before they apply to inquire about how to receive this.
