Gene Chip 2015
Images are taken from a DNA microarray (also commonly known as DNA chip, biochip or Gene Chip). The Gene Chip is a collection of microscopic DNA spots attached to a solid surface. Scientists use DNA microarrays to measure the expression levels of large numbers of genes simultaneously or to genotype multiple regions of a genome.

Zwillinge, Two DNA Tests 2015
The work is based on the Illustration that accompanied the article Now: The Rest of the Genome, by Carl Zimmer Mapping the Epigenome. It was done in collaboration with Jonathan Corum from the NYT, by Martin Krzywinski, Staff Scientist, Bioinformatics Genome Sciences Centre BC Cancer Agency. He created the illustration of data showing methylation on chromosome 22 in a variety of tissues using Circos. Martin Krzywinski designed Circos software, which generates circularly composited views of genomic data and annotations.
