Greetings, new Reed parents and families.
On behalf of the Reed College Orientation team, welcome to the Reed community. We're excited to meet you!
We write today with information about General Orientation, move-in, and Parent & Family Orientation.
General Orientation will take place August 26–September 1. New student move-in is scheduled for Monday, August 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students should sign up for a move-in time by July 15. The sign-up form opens on June 1.
The housing portal is open and housing applications are due June 1. More information on housing can be found on our website.
Parent & Family Orientation
Parent & Family Orientation events are scheduled in coordination with the start of General Orientation.
All events for parents, family members, and guests will take place on Tuesday, August 27, and are listed below. Registration is required. All events will be held in person and will be recorded for those who are unable to attend. Recorded sessions will be available online the week of September 2.

Registration is required to attend Parent & Family Orientation events. Please submit your RSVP by Friday, August 23.
Books & Linens
The bookstore has partnered with Dormify for linen orders. If you'd like to have your order shipped directly to Reed, please wait until August 12th to place your order and include your Mailstop number.
We encourage your student to preorder books and supplies from the Reed bookstore. Preorders should be placed by Tuesday, August 6. Preorders will be available for pick up by Monday, August 26.
