Communications and Reminders from Reed

Online Orientation Module 2 and Move-in

Dear Student,

We hope you are getting excited about joining us on campus! Below you’ll find Module 2 of online Orientation and more information about move-in day.

Online Orientation, Module 2

Module 2 includes information about living on campus, opportunities to engage with student government, working at Reed, and the Health & Counseling Center.

Please review the online Orientation modules soon after you receive them, as they contain important action items. If you haven’t already completed Module 1, please be sure to do so.

You will receive the third and final module on July 28. All three online modules should be completed before August 26. Here are some tips for viewing the materials:

  • Complete Module 1 if you have not already done so.
  • Access Module 2 of online Orientation.
  • Sign in with your Reed username and password.
  • It will take 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete Module 2. You do not have to complete it in one sitting, as the platform will save your place.
  • Once you complete a section, you can return to that section to review the material. The materials will remain available as a reference for the remainder of the academic year.
  • A red “Next” button on the bottom right indicates when you can advance to the next slide.

Move-in

Incoming students will move in to their residence halls on Monday, August 26, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. PDT, unless they are participating in a pre-Orientation program.

You must sign up for your move-in time slot by July 15 but can make changes to your arrival time up until August 1. More details about the move-in process can be found on the residence life website.

If you have any questions, please email reedorientation@reed.edu. We look forward to meeting you next month!

Sincerely,

The Reed College Orientation Team
