Estimating Costs

Net Price Calculators

Our calculators can be used to estimate your need-based financial aid eligibility at Reed. Please note that the calculators are intended for use by U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens (as defined by the U.S. Department of Education for federal student aid purposes) who will be full-time, first-year undergraduate students.

Reed offers two tools for estimating what a Reed education would cost after accounting for financial aid. The Quick Cost Estimator provides a ballpark estimate based on six simple questions.

For a more detailed estimate of your cost, use Reed’s Net Price Calculator. While the calculator can’t capture all the information needed to evaluate financial need, its results offer a good place to start the conversation about financing your Reed education. Please be aware the information generated by these tools will be an estimate. The results will only be as accurate as the information provided; read instructions carefully and use the help icons as needed. The net price calculator is currently applicable to the 2023-2024 academic year.
