We want to hear from you!
Reed sends out surveys via text (503-912-7485) and email (ReedCollege@discover-reed.org) asking admitted students to update us about their plans for the fall. Announcements and updates may also be via text (971-257-1207) and from your personal admission counselor. We want to hear from you and encourage you to fill out these surveys and connect with your counselor!

Reed Admit Days
Multiple Dates. At the most special event of the year you will meet college leaders, gain in-depth knowledge about the first-year Reedie experience, explore campus with a current student, and meet some of your peers who will make up the class of ’29.
Admitted Student Receptions
Multiple Dates. We’re holding get-togethers across the country where you can mingle with other future Reedies, ask an admission counselor your questions, and learn more about life at Reed. Gather with your fellow griffins to celebrate your admission to the class of '29.
East Coast Perspectives: A Student Panel
Apr 15 at 3 p.m. Hear from current Reed students about their perspective coming to Portland from various locations along the East Coast!
Students of Color Panel
Apr 15 at 4 p.m. What is it like to be a student of color at Reed? Current students of color will tell you about learning, living, and thriving at Reed. Topics will include academics, residence halls, student life, clubs and organizations, and Portland. Join this session to hear students answer your questions live. All students are welcome!
Tough Questions with Dr. K
Apr 15 at 6 p.m. Parents and students are invited to join Milyon Trulove, VP and Dean of Admission & Financial Aid, and Karnell McConnell-Black, VP for Student Life, for a question and answer session. Learn more about how Reed supports student success, what stands out about our rigorous curriculum, and what Reedies go on to achieve after graduating.
Virtual Parent Panel
Apr 17 at 6 p.m. Gain insight into the college journey from a parent’s perspective. This panel features parents of current Reed students who will share their experiences navigating the college decision-making process.
International Admit Celebration
Apr 18 at 4 p.m. Admitted international students: connect with your admission counselors, current Reedies, and staff from International Student Services for a chance to ask questions, get to know the Reed community, and celebrate your admission!
Reedies Reflect: Student Panel
Apr 23 at 3 p.m. Current students will tell you about learning, living, and thriving at Reed—from clubs and language houses to paper conferences and Gray Fund. Join this session to hear students answer your questions live.
Decision Day Drop-in with the Dean
May 1 at 3:30 p.m. Do you have any remaining questions about Reed? Drop into this session to get your questions answered by Milyon Trulove, Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid.
Housing and Residence Life Panel
May 6 at 4 p.m. Learn more about housing, the housing portal, roommate matching, and building community in the residence halls. Residence Life staff will answer questions about Residence Life and living on campus!
Getting the Most Out of Academic Advising
May 15 at 4 p.m. This session is an introduction to academic advising during which you'll learn how the process works, what to expect in your first meeting with your adviser, and how you can prepare ahead of time.
Disability & Accessibility Resources at Reed
May 28 at 3:30 p.m. Learn how students can get started with the accommodation process and access the resources they need to support their personal and academic success at Reed. Accessibility matters to us!
