Student Activities and Multicultural Resource Center Administrative Coordinator

Reed College, one of the country’s leading private liberal arts colleges, invites applications for the position of Student Activities and Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) Administrative Coordinator.
Primary responsibilities for this position include assisting with all aspects of the student activities office operations, performing multiple administrative tasks, the ability to successfully interact with people from diverse backgrounds, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff and faculty, and tracking multiple budgets and activities. Additional responsibilities include implementing programs, and creating advertising for events. Receives and directs visitors and phone calls, supervises student employees. This program works with the MRC to support the Peer Mentor Program.

Successful candidates will possess have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a desire to work with students in a challenging college environment. Demonstrated experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment is preferred. Knowledge of Macintosh-based software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite is strongly preferred.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma, college degree preferred and/or any combination of experience and education that provides the desired skills and abilities required to perform the job. Reed offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
