Reed College's department of Computer User Services seeks an exceptional individual to provide top-tier technical support for Macintosh, Windows and Linux/UNIX systems and applications.  The Senior User Support Specialist mentors and supervises student workers, evaluates and masters new technologies, manages computer labs across campus, and provides ongoing training and instruction to students, faculty and academic staff.  Required: bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, experience providing technical assistance in an academic setting, wide and deep knowledge of technology, superb communication and organizational skills.  Desired: grace under pressure, a good sense of humor, a strong desire to help students, faculty, and staff make the most of technology.
