Administrative Manager

Reed College seeks an Administrative Manager in the campus Community Safety Office.

Duties of this position include managing the office’s budgets, records, statistics, Clery Act reporting and personnel processes, development and oversight of procedures for the administrative team and the communications/dispatch unit, acting as a liaison to offices across campus, providing technical support for the Community Safety office, and other administrative duties. The Administrative Manager supervises the dispatch team, which is composed of three full-time and two part-time professional staff, and the student office assistants, currenly composed of three student team members.

Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High level of competence and comfort with computer systems and office equipment. High School Diploma and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible clerical experience or any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job. Prior experience in management or supervision is preferred.

The position will start in the second week of May in order to allow a two week overlap with the departing Administrative Manager.
