Lecture: Judson Rosengrant, "History, Identity, Being: Reflections on the Transcultural Autobiography of Dr. Moisey Wolf"

Judson Rosengrant is a prize-winning editor and translator of a wide variety of Russian literature and historiography, including works by Leo Tolstoy, Yury Olesha, Lydia Ginzburg, Fazil Iskander, Eduard Limonov, and Edvard Radzinsky. He received a PhD in Slavic languages and literature from Stanford University with a dissertation on Vladimir Nabokov, and has taught Russian language, literature, and culture at the University of Southern California, Indiana University, and Reed College. He has also taught translation theory and practice at St. Petersburg State University in Russia. He lives in Portland, Oregon. Sponsored by the Russian department.
