Interview & Discussion: "Reckoning with Evil: God, Hope, and Philosophy"

Sam Newlands, William J. and Dorothy K. O'Neill Collegiate Associate Professor in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, will be interviewed by Troy Cross, associate professor of philosophy & humanities at Reed, followed by discussion groups. Prof. Newland’s research focuses on early modern philosophy, metaphysics, and the philosophy of religion. He served as editor of Metaphysics and the Good (Oxford 2009) and New Essays on Leibniz’s Theodicy (Oxford 2014). Sponsored by the Veritas Forum at Reed.
