Scrolling Acanthus Frieze
Only a few original marble fragments have survived from the right half ot this scrolling acanthus frieze, but they are of unusually high quality. The print below shows the location of these fragments as incorporated in the 1937-38 reconstruction. Most of these fragments are shown in the detail photographs on this page.
