Get Involved!

Donate

Why donate to Reed? Without your support, Reed couldn't be Reed.

Update your Profile

Keeping your IRIS profile up to date, including contact information and career information, is invaluable to the college.

Update your profile now, submit a class note, or check out our guide to IRIS.

Organize Events

The Alumni Office wants you! Want to help out with Renn Fayre projects? Teach a class at Paideia? Plan an event at Reunions, or help organize your class? Find out more or email us here.

If you'd like to plan your own Reed event, you can advertise your event by submitting it through our online form. We can help you plan your event - email us at alumni@reed.edu.

Run for (Alumni) Office

There are two types of elected office in the Alumni Association. The Alumni Board helps decide the direction of the college and shapes the actions of the Alumni Office. Individual chapter boards plan local events and organize communities all around the country.

Interact with Reedies

Reed Alumni Connect volunteers call Reed's new alumni - not to ask for money, but to help them get jobs, housing, or whatever they need. Reed Switchboard provides a low-key way to get in touch with Reedies all over the world. And Alumni Admissions Representatives represent Reed in admisison interviews and at college fairs.

Learn more about these opportunities here, or contact us to let us know you are interested.

Stay Connected

Keep in the know about news of the mothership via the Reed College channels on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram as well as ReediEnews for alumni on Facebook and Twitter, managed by Robin Tovey '97 in the Office of Public Affairs. Also, a number of chapter groups are on Facebook - for a full list, click here.

Career Volunteering

The Center for Life Beyond Reed provides students with career advice and support, and are always looking for volunteers to help students and alumni follow their passions. If you're interested in being part of a "Career Community", check out the Reed Career Alliance.
