About the Reed College Alumni Association

student in library

You are eligible to be a member of the alumni association if you earned at least seven units in a degree-seeking program at Reed. Essentially, Reed's alumni association is the organization of all alumni. Occasionally, the alumni board confers honorary alumni status upon non-alumni to express appreciation for work they have done on behalf of the college.

Upon graduating, all alumni receive a plastic alumni association ID card; this card is required for access to the sports center, library, and other benefits and resources. If you've lost your card or never received one, please send email to alumni@reed.edu about ordering a replacement.

The Foster–Scholz Club is a subset of the alumni association made up of all Portland-area alumni who graduated from the college 40 or more years ago.
